WORLD CLASS ANTIQUE INSCRIBED DATED CAUCASIAN ARMENIAN SEVAN KAZAK CARPET RUG
Here's a world class antique Armenian Sevan dated 1902. It is in excellent full pile condition and all original with rare blue wefts. It would only need a few lines of repair on the upper left. What I find particularly striking about this rug is the green abrash where the Armenian year is inscribed. Also the purple color which upon close inspection reveals that it is made of carefully blended blue and red wool filaments -- absolutely stunning piece for curators and advanced collectors!
