Origin: SAROUK (Mohajeren) Circa: 1900 Size: 6’5” by 4’3” Evenly low pile and in very good condition Sides and ends are in original form. This design is incredibly remarkable with sparse design elements that truly allow the design to breath, a nice departure from the very busy traditional sarouk designs. The brilliant depictions of botany are intricately woven throughout with 8 small viper heads at either end making it a very rare and desirable collectors piece. This piece was made with all organic dyes and luxuries hand spun wool. The weave is exceptionally fine, a testament to the dedication and high quality craftsmanship that went in to creating this piece.
