The "embroidered" style of this Soumak rug is intricate. Made in about 1910, this rug is over 100 years old and was purchased in Istanbul in 1990 when certain rugs become increasingly available after the breakup of the former Soviet Union. Soumak rugs are considered strong and exceptionally durable. Will send additional photos upon request. Will accept returns, but rug must be returned in the the same condition.
