This listing is for an Antique Manchester Wool Kork Mohajeran Sarouk Hand Woven Oriental Rug Carpet measuring a variant width of 41 to 42 inches and overall length of 64 inches Circa 1900 . It Weighs about 15 lbs. net. Lustrous Manchester ( Virgin / kork ) wool and intricate design . Full luscious pile. Exemplary production made specifically to entice Rug Dealers into ordering them, which were produced very little . Very delightful piece. Not washed while in my possession but it is clean and bright. Salvages are in excellent condition and the red guard border ( the last red on the ends of the rug) , is there and is overcast with short machine made fringes. It is so soft , it folds like a slab of shoulder meat. Thick lustrous Pile throughout. Best of the best. It will be shipped rolled . Awesome piece.
