Antique Jaff Kurd bag face weaving c. 1900, possibly older. The main area of this 28"x44" weaving is in good condition for its age while the ends are unsecured and frayed and the selvedge mostly good. Colors are lightly faded and probably not all natural. Pile is thick (60 Turkish kpsi) on a wool foundation with one minor worn spot (pictured).
