Origin: Caucasian, Kazak Size: 3x3’6 Circa: 1900 Very colorful caucasian Kazak,this small jem is in distressed condition and yet its playful and charming look is irresistible.The red brick field of this Kazak is decorated with octagon shaped ornaments in beautiful colors surrounded by eight point stars guard border and octagon shaped main border with eight point stars woven inside. All dyes used to make this caucasian are absolutely organic,and wool is very soft and floppy.All sides and ends are original and there are no restorations .The estimated time to hand weave this rug is about 400 hours.This cute rug could also be used in reverse.
