This beautiful one-of-a-kind antique 1930-1940's tribal rug makes it's way from the Anatolian region in Turkey. It features bold earthy natural henna dyes. Beautiful tribal patterns encompass a large hexagon medallion surrounded by geometrical lines and motifs. This rug features an extremely dense and tightly woven wool pile that took a talented nomadic weaver over a year to create. Natural dyes and colors include: crimson, indigo, burnt sienna, and more.  This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades.  We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey. We source our inventory directly from Turkey and the surrounding regions. Everyone involved in our business is very passionate about the rugs we offer. From myself, the curator of the rugs, to my family who helps me with the professional cleaning and repairing, we all work very hard to supply an excellent product from our family to yours. We hope you will get just as much enjoyment out of them as we do. We stand by our rugs, and want to provide you with an heirloom piece that will last in your family for many decades. We strive to represent the rugs in the best way we can. Please keep in mind - rug colors may vary depending on monitor settings. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly. We greatly appreciate your feedback and comments. Thanks for looking, happy shopping, and be sure to check out the hundreds of rugs we currently have in our shop!
