We are proudly present an important and extremely very rare DOROUKHSH rug that belongs to circa 1099 Hejri or 1687 or 1688 Georgian.This rug is very rare and fine with poems all over with gorgeous details and beautiful medallion.The signature on one corner reads:1099 (Or circa 1687 Georgian ) and also reads in :BY THE ORDER OF HIS EXCELLENCY OMDATTOLL TOJJAR.This rug belongs to north eastern city of Doroukhsh .The rug is in very good condition fro its age and shows the normal wear to rug pile.It has poems all around.The rug is very rare and not offered for sale ever.It has been obtained from a gentleman rug collector in New Port Beach in California.It measures without fringes :107" by:78" or :2.73 meter by: 1.99 meter. This rug is 100% wool and hand made with natural colors.This rug is numbered or dated that reads:1 9 9 that means 1099 Hejri.This rug used to belong to richest person in Ghazvin Omdattoll Tojjar and his son in law "Samiee" after getting blind by Nader Shah successor Adell Shah because he was so rich and Shah wants to take over all his wealth and properties .On his way back to Rasht he stays at Omdatol Tojjar home in Ghazvin and the only daughter of him fall in love and they get married and all his wealth goes to Samiee and this rug was part of the inheritance has been obtained from him. Samiee family are one of 500 most influenced family in whole country .
