ANTIQUE TURKISH ORIENTAL RUG, NICE WEAVE, CIRCA 1920, 4.1 x 6.1 ESTATE FIND , ORIENTAL PRAYER RUGWith short fringes at both ends.BARGAIN !Photos taken outside in natural light. THIS IS A REAL NICE HAND WOVEN RUG WITH GOOD AGE>>>! 35 YEARS IN THIS BUSINESS Size : 4' 1" x 6' 1" Circa early 1900's + A very nice looking piece here with good age. Should last another 50 years. Hand Woven. All wool pile and wool warp and weft. 3-4 cord selvage. Ends good with short fringes. Shows a very even wear pattern with a pile near the foundation. This was always a thin rug. There are a few repiled areas in the rug as seen. The ends have been rebuilt about 1" approx. There is some light staining in the rug (pointing to the most obvious). Priced accordingly. Would be appropriate in many settings, formal or informal. Just a cute little antique tribal rug! As always with estate rugs, we recommend a good cleaning when exchanging hands.
