Vintage 1950s MCM Wool Wall Rug Textile Art Salme Tervonen Handmade Finland Xmas This mid century modern wall rug textile art is by Salme Tervonen for Kainuun Pirtti from the 1950s. It was handmade in Finland. There is no material listed on the tag, but based off of research we believe it to be made of wool. It features green and red stripes on a white/cream background, making this piece great for Christmas and holiday times. There is noticeable wear on this textile- the red has bled into the cream background, which is shown in the photos.
