Semi-Antique Caucasian-Shirvan Khorjin complete saddle bags (2' x 4'5")
Beautiful and unique semi-antique (circa 1930's) Caucasian-Shirvan saddlebags from the former Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan. Wool on wool construction with alternating bands of pile and kilim flat weave. Tribal made with natural dyes (quite possibly), in very good condition, some staining and small holes on back, otherwise front pile, attachment loops and selvedge all intact. 50 kpsi, 2' x 4'5", has been professionally cleaned and moth proofed recently.
